1. Pharmacy Recertification Program for Vietnamese Pharmacists to practice in the USA, and Specialty Certifications in Geriatry, Diabetes, Asthma, Dyslipidemia, Weight control, Smoking cessation etc.

2. Formation of the Drug Information Center, the
Pharmaceutical Care Center, and the Pharmacy Library.

3. Planning of the Bi-annual General Assembly to
elect 1/3 of the Board of Directors members, and the expansion of the organizational structure of VPhA-USA.

4. Organization of the Christmas Party and the 2002 Tet celebration.
